Before joining Lucent, he worked for Pavilion Technologies and Texaco in the US. He has a doctorate in engineering from the University of Maryland and was an adjunct faculty member at Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University in Texas. He specialises in equity investment and derivative products, mainly for China clients. Forrest L. Didier Managing director, Asia-Pacific, Latin America NetRatings Mr Didier has 23 years experience in the media-measurement sector and has held top management positions in the Nielsen group. Previously, he was managing director of Asia Pacific for Nielsen Media Research International, overseeing research in 12 markets. Kristi Swartz Legal counsel ICS Trust (Asia) Ms Swartz will be responsible for all in-house legal work, as well as assisting clients to source and structure business arrangements in China and worldwide. Her previous position was corporate counsel at Henderson (China) Investment. William Fung Deputy chairman Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corp Dr Fung, 56, is a non-executive director of the bank and a non-executive director of HSBC Holdings. Yvonne Ho Consultant, banking group, HK Allen & Overy Ms Ho has a broad range of experience in banking and finance, particularly in structured and asset finance. She has worked with finance providers and borrowers in the telecommunications, aviation and property sectors, among others. David Li Yi Chairman, country head, China UBS Mr Li joins from China Merchants Holdings (International) where he was managing director. He previously worked for Citicorp in New York, and First Capridge Corp and has served as chairman of the Finance Society in New York. Lim Kwang Kok Taxonomy consultant Factiva Based in Singapore, Mr Lim will work with clients in Southeast Asia. He joins from PSB Corp, where he ran the corporate information office. Chris Hunt Head of Asian equities Cazenove Asia Mr Hunt will run the secondary Asian equity business, responsible for equity sales, trading and research for institutional clients. He joins from Morgan Stanley where he was head of equity syndicate for Asia Pacific. May Oh Senior vice-president Star Ventures Ms Oh has been with the firm for five years, most recently as vice-president of distribution. Before joining Star, she held a senior position at Foxtel in Australia.
