Although Hong Kong Disneyland is scheduled to open in September this year, it seems like the city's youngsters are already eagerly anticipating romance at the theme park.
CitySeen recently received a tip from a reader about a hit song called He asked me out to Disneyland that is being talked about in internet chat rooms and posted on weblogs.
The owner of the sweet voice is an 18-year-old who goes by the name of Kelly Jackie, or Chan Hiu-ki. The Chinese song was, at one point, one of the Popular Searches on the Yahoo Hong Kong search engine.
With lyrics that say: 'I'll always remember Hong Kong Disneyland' and 'if you are heartbroken or sad, always remember that Minnie is by your side', the song is about a girl whose love story revolves around the theme park.
Hong Kong Disneyland has not commented on the song yet.
