The 150-year-old Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) Community Trophy is on show at the Hong Kong Racing Museum.
The silver wine container was made in England by Henry Wilkinson & Company and was first presented to the owner of Cockspinner at Happy Valley's Spring Race meeting in 1852.
It then found its way into a South American vault for over a century before being rediscovered and returned to Hong Kong two years ago - donated to the HKJC by collector Tobias Brown.
