In the spotlight

Michelle Yim is a veteran on the local entertainment scene.

She was in secondary school when she took a training course organised by Shaw Brothers in the mid-70s.

In 1976, she rose to fame following her witty portrayal of the character Wong Yong in Legend of Condor Heroes.

The drama was adapted from the popular novel written by Louis Cha.

Since then, Yim has starred in movies, musicals and dramas.

She remains popular today and is envied for her youthful looks.

In recent years, she has been spending more time doing voluntary work, especially with the elderly.
