A POLICE surveillance operation led to the seizure of almost three kilograms of heroin mixture and the arrest of two newspaper vendors, the High Court heard.
Wan Po-wo, 25, and Wan Siu-fai, 36, pleaded guilty to a joint charge of trafficking in a dangerous drug, and Deputy Judge Daniell adjourned sentencing to a date to be fixed.
Crown Counsel Wayne Walsh told the court a team of policemen was on surveillance duty at a To Kwa Wan building on November 17 last year.
They entered a flat and saw someone looking out from one of the rooms before closing the door.
The officers forced their way in and found Wan Siu-fai and Wan Po-wo.
The heroin mixture was lying around the room.
