'We've spent 10 to 15 years concentrating on health and education, but the transport and infrastructure ... aren't there.'

It is common to find two verbs used closely

together, like 'spent' and 'concentrating' in the above example. But in some cases, the second verb must end with 'ing', and definitely not be preceded by 'to'.

Match these verbs to the appropriate sentence: taking, enjoyed, watching, going

1. The secondary school students ____ attending the science exhibition.

2. The girl whose parents can no longer afford her tuition misses _____ to school.
