Ricky Yiu Poon-fie and Anthony Delpech are the team to follow in the opening leg of the Triple Trio tomorrow when they combine with Solar Power.

The progressive galloper has won his last two starts over 1,400 metres - one on a good track and one on a yielding surface - and is gunning for a hat-trick.

In addition to his versatility, he remains in Class Four and  strikes similar rivals for the third start in a row.

A good case can be made for Lord Cairns, who looked a little unlucky on his last start when finishing fourth to Gold Medal Winner over 1,200m.

He will relish the step up to 1,400m and, with more natural improvement to come, looks assured of figuring in the finish.

Mr Genki has taken the rise in grade well and his recent form over the course and distance is good enough to suggest he can figure in the finish.

Telecom Tycoon and Fat Dragon are well handicapped and  capable of hitting the frame. The best option for a banker in the middle pin is in-form  Master Spirit, who  should appreciate the return to 1,400m at which he scored on May 21.

He is well drawn in gate six to attain an easy lead  and will prove hard to run down.

The recent form of Quick News has been encouraging and  he should  figure in the finish.

The booking of Douglas Whyte aboard Telecom Superboss inspires some confidence. His recent form is good enough to include him in the shortlist too.

Speed O Light  ran well in defeat last start  and warrants respect.

In-form  Champ Dragon  is competitively handicapped, while Gold Sandfield is another that promotes some interest.

The final leg  is held over 2,000m on the all-weather surface and last-start winner Lancettier looks  promising banker material.

He defeated   Millennium Spirit over 1,800m on the specialist surface last time and should have no trouble with the extra furlong. Millennium Spirit came out to win on May 8 at the Valley.

Wadadelight has won his past two starts and, given his current form, must be given strong claims.

Magic Touch  has performed with distinction on the all-weather surface this season and warrants consideration.

Show Bravely  is competitively weighted and  Royal Falcon has shown marked improvement recently and should hit the frame.

The safest option for a banker in the third event is the all-weather specialist Doucai.

Sound Of Silence is  holding his form well and should figure in the finish,  while Speed Fighter has drawn poorly but remains in good form and cannot be denied place claims.

Strawberry Kisses has fallen to a competitive mark and, based on his last performance, should be added to the shortlist.
