Steelcase's Think chair may boast a host of ergonomic features that ensure ideal seat height and depth, but it is also lauded for other reasons. It is made of more than 40 per cent recycled material and 99 per cent of its content can be reused once the chair has outlived its usefulness. Designers hoping to emulate the success of Steelcase should be able to pick up valuable tips during Design Education Week, which starts tomorrow and runs until Friday. Keynote speakers at the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel tomorrow include Craig Vogel, director of the Centre of Design Research and Innovation at the University of Cincinnati, and James Ludwig, design director of Steelcase.
