Good impressions When giving a crucial presentation to an important client, do you really want to put yourself at the mercy of another person's gear? Try making a good impression while fumbling around with notebook and projector cables. Better to take along a projector of your own. The HP mp3135 Digital Projector is for the road warrior who leaves nothing to chance. Built for mobility, it weighs 1.7kg - not exactly lightweight but about the same as most notebooks. There is no need to connect to a PC. The mp3135 accepts presentations stored on Compact Flash, a USB drive or SD card. An attachment allows presentations to be beamed wireless to the unit via Wi-fi. But good impressions do not come cheap. The HP mp3135 costs $22,888 or $27,568 with the wireless attachment.
Spy catcher Confused, bothered and bewildered by all that spyware and other malicious programs lurking online? It's time to take matters into your own hands, with some help from Symantec. The new Norton Internet Security 2005 AntiSpyware Edition offers real-time detection and automatic removal of spyware from a users' computer, creating essential protection from viruses, hackers, and privacy risks. Built for users of Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 2000 Professional operating systems, the new Symantec product also delivers protection updates for new security risks on a regular basis. Another advantage of Norton Internet Security 2005 AntiSpyware Edition is its ability to accurately differentiate between actual spyware risks and legitimate software applications. Spyware applications categorised as high risk are repaired and quarantined automatically as soon as they are detected by a system scan. Lower risk programs generate an alert to the user that includes information on the risk category, symptoms and behaviour of the risk, transmission details and recommended action. Norton Internet Security 2005 AntiSpyware Edition is priced at $546.
