Ushering in a renaissance in industrial design, Motorola unveiled its stylish SLVR V8 premium mobile phone at the CommunicAsia trade show in Singapore.
The SLVR V8's finishes include an illuminated precision-cut keypad with a metallic spun finish, chrome-plated side keys, a glass display, a glass-filled body for rigidity and an anodised aluminium battery door. The ultra-slim, candy bar-shaped phone comes with a digital audio player, Bluetooth connectivity, Enhanced Data for Global Evolution-standard cellular technology, high-speed data exchange, e-mail and an integrated camera.
Media sharing is a breeze. Users can download and store music, video clips and more onto an optional TransFlash memory card. The phone also has 256 megabytes of built-in memory. The SLVR V8, expected to be released later this year, supports all Bluetooth-enabled headsets.
