To further explore the future use of the herb in relation to its anti-cancer properties, PolyU has joined hands with The Jackson Laboratory of the United States to conduct animal testing and other related studies.
The researchers found that the herbal extracts can also restrict the growth of breast cancer cells and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
The results provide a solid basis for further scientific study of the herb's anti-cancer properties.
