The English version of popular children's book series Martine will be launched at the Hong Kong Book Fair next month.
First published in 1954, Martine is a best-seller in Europe. A total of 54 stories have been printed and translated into more than 30 languages.
Publisher Casterman Editions has recently regained the rights to publish their own English version.

Written by the late Gilbert Delahaye, Martine is about a girl growing up and discovering new things. The series highlights the importance of human relationships.
The four books available at the Book Fair will be: Martine at School, Martine and Her Friend Sparrow, Martine Moves to a New Home and Martine and Her Friend Donkey Cadichon.
