JAVIER FALCON ROSALES is the Asia-Pacific regional manager for a European industrial group that manufactures and exports paper. At the AGSM graduation ceremony he will receive an award for marketing principles in recognition of his performance in the subject.
Mr Falcon Rosales said winning the award among a community of capable and motivated individuals was flattering and a boost to his confidence and pride. 'I must also thank those colleagues who worked with me on the projects required for the completion of this subject,' he said.
The Spanish native said he chose the AGSM MBA because he expected it to provide him with the management tools that would allow him to pursue his professional ambitions with more confidence.
Mr Falcon Rosales said the programme had provided him with a wide spectrum of skills positioning him as a valuable professional - which has also had a positive effect on his personal life.
A good percentage of the material learnt in class was immediately applicable to the workplace, he said. 'This includes soft and hard skills, though the applicability certainly varies depending on the professional field the student is involved in.'
