The film, directed by Hong Kong teacher Betty Lee, is a touching portrait of a Yao boy who tries to preserve traditional rituals that are fast disappearing. The documentary shows that people can lead a happy and colourful life despite living in poverty. The film is in the Yao dialect and Putonghua, with Chinese and English subtitles.
