Interesting opportunities await architects who are keen to capitalise on their experience and to work on projects in Greater China. A group that provides a range of architectural and planning services, including in-house interior, graphic design and production support, is seeking to recruit both new and replacement architects to join its teams in Hong Kong and across the border. Established in Hong Kong in 1963, Wong Tung & Partners, Architects and Planners (WTP) first set up activities in the mainland in 1978. To date, the group, with a total strength of 240, offers its clients the services of representative offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. 'The Wong Tung group has contributed to the successful completion of a variety of large-scale planning and architectural projects throughout Southeast Asia, the United States, Canada and the mainland,' said Silina Kwok, executive director at WTP's Hong Kong offices. A wide range of professional personnel is required by the group to tackle a number of projects from inception to completion. Duties include conceptual and detail design, contract documentation and administration, project liaison work, site inspection, and construction supervision, Ms Kwok said. 'The ideal candidate should possess a professional degree with a minimum of five years of postgraduate experience,' she said. Mainland experience will also be an advantage.
