The 2005 Hong Kong and Kowloon inter-school sports awards will be presented at La Salle College today. The Bauhinia Bowl Awards, sponsored by Bank of China, will honour the top-performing boys and girls and co-ed schools for 2004/2005. Four students will win the coveted Sportsperson of the Year Awards, and 28 students will receive awards for outstanding results in individual sports. La Salle have clinched the champion boys' school title and their runner/swimmer Ricco Chan Ye-ko was named Sportsboy of the Year. Heep Yunn are girls' champions and their discus thrower/swimming ace Elaine Chan Yu-ning was named Sportsgirl of the Year. In the co-ed category, Island School are champions, with Morgan Gibson named Co-ed Sportsgirl of the Year. Rugby and football talent Keith Robertson has won his second Co-ed Sportsboy of the Year title, and his West Island School are the Co-ed Most Progressive School trophy winners.
