On Monday night Engelbert Humperdinck surprised many in the audience of 2,000 with his ability to still give the girls goosebumps with his romantic repertoire.
But it was Humperdinck, 69, who got the biggest surprise of all when his son, Scott Dorsey, and his daughter-in-law flew from the US to attend his concert at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The after-party was a quiet affair with family and friends at the Champagne Bar at the Grand Hyatt.
Humperdinck arrived with his wife last Saturday and, according to our sources, 'all they did was shop the whole time they were here'. A CitySeen reader reported that she saw Humperdinck walking around in Tsim Sha Tsui on Sunday. The romantic crooner left on Tuesday morning for concerts in Japan.
