Firm fan of radio channel

FOLLOWING your editorial October 19 and subsequent replies I wish to add my support for Radio 3's excellent English broadcasting. In a world crammed with electronic gadgets and TV, it is refreshing to listen to children's stories, games and music and news bulletins throughout the day and evening.

Leave Radio 3 alone! Why criticise English language TV which is why the radio is even more of an attraction? Thank you Radio 3, from my children (and their mother!). As a postscript, might I ask Radio 3 to get rid of Legco on Wednesday, from 2.30pm to 6pm and put it out on the Chinese channel? SUZANNE FARRINGTON Mid-Levels
