Introduced last month, the compact Nokia 6280 slide phone comes with a range of features for users to take full advantage of 3G multimedia services. The phone is equipped with a 2-megapixel camera on the back and a lower-resolution, video graphics array camera in front, both of which support real-time video sharing and two-way video calls. It also allows a user to program incoming calls with video ring tones. The 6280 follows the trend towards leaner 3G handset design. It weighs 115 grams and measures 99.9x46x21mm. It offers up to 10 megabytes of internal memory, available for video, audio, images and other files. A 64MB miniSD memory card is also included in the phone package. Bluetooth wireless technology provides easy linkage to printers and personal computers. The 6280 will be available in the fourth quarter.
