Swiss beauty company La Colline has a new Anti-Spot White Corrector, designed to reduce dark spots and restore a luminous complexion. The corrector (right) is a cocktail of lightening ingredients, including stabilised vitamin C, white tea leaves and grapefruit and lemon fruit acids. It aims to exfoliate skin to eliminate dead cells, as well as break down the melanin particles already formed. La Colline says a clinical study in 2003 on 20 Asian women showed 71 per cent said there was a lightening of their skin. Available from SaSa stores for $952. Rene Furterer has introduced a new product range for fine and 'tired' hair. The Tonucia range is designed to tone the scalp and stimulate nutrient circulation to strengthen hair. Clinical results are said to show the Fortifying and Densifying Treatment ($240/150ml) resulted in a 7 per cent increase in hair diameter after a single application. It's suggested people should massage the Toning Shampoo (left, $180/50ml) into the scalp vigorously to release the active ingredients. Available from all SaSa stores. Ione has released a new at-home whitening facial range for the summer. The company says it will help whiten and moisturise skin, as well as cleanse and control oil secretion. The Perfect Cleansing Milk ($320) is designed to remove dirt, dead skin cells and makeup without stripping the skin of moisture. The Perfect Skin Lotion ($360) is a toner with stabilised vitamin C. A Moist Massage cream ($1,190) contains hyaluronic acid to boost moisture and lobata root, said to stimulate collagen production. Also in the range is an Anti-Acne essence ($490), an Eye Wrinkle Gel ($660), Day and Night cream ($995) and a mask ($580). Available only at Joyce boutiques. Carolina Herrera's new Vintage Limited Edition fragrance (right, $665) has a top note of bitter orange, cardamom and strawberry, with hints of rose and vanilla. L'Oreal has released a slimming patch to help fight cellulite. The Perfect Slim Patch ($99/six pieces) claims to have eight hours of targeted action. L'Oreal says it's 'fat-fighting' formula is released continuously while wearing it on stubborn areas. It is best used in conjunction with the Re-Sculpt Perfect Body Contour ($65) to exfoliate skin. Day and Night Perfect Slimming Duo ($75 each) are gels massaged into skin before the patch is applied.
