The winner of this year's South China Morning Post Student of the Year emerged at the exciting and entertaining final on Sunday. The winners of the other seven categories were announced earlier:

Student Computer Scientist - Lee Siu-leung (TWGHs Li Ka Shing College)

Best Improvement - Joyce Wong Hiu-nam (Diocesan Girls' School)

Student Sportsperson - Tania Mak So-ning (Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong)

Student Visual Artist - Lam Tin-na (Jockey Club Ti-I College)
