The Hong Kong International School's annual fund ball at the InterContinental Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui was, again, a success.

The evening featured an array of entertainment, and attracted some familiar faces, including chairman of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Ronald Arculli, HSBC's executive director for Hong Kong and the mainland, Peter Wong Tung-shun, and his wife, Camay, and Deputy US Consul-General Marlene Sakaue.

The fun started with a cocktail reception, while the Middle School Chamber Ensemble and the High School Chamber Ensemble performed.

The highlight of the event was the drawing of the raffle, which was won by Arculli. The grand prize was a Porsche Cayenne valued at $738,000.

This year's event raised about $2.2 million, and all proceeds will go to the school's annual fund campaign, which funds enrichment programmes for the school.
