Volleyball video competition
A beach volleyball video-shooting competition will be held later this month to promote filming fun in the summer.
Open to all Hong Kong residents, the competition requires participants to attend the Sony Handycam Beach Volleyball Kick-off Carnival on July 30 at Gold Coast in Tuen Mun.
The entries, one to three minutes long, must portray the fun of summer and show how relaxing it is to spend time on the beach in the sunshine, playing or watching volleyball.
The shorts must be recorded on mini digital video tapes or in MPEG format.
Other activities at the carnival include a swimwear fashion show and sand sculpture exhibitions.
The deadline for the competition is August 22. Prizes include a DVD Handycam and digital Handycams. For details, call 2534 5080 during office hours.
