You heard it here first: The Tears are scheduled to perform their debut gig in our city next month. Led by Suede's former lead singer Brett Anderson and ex-guitarist Bernard Butler, with Nathan Fisher on bass guitar, Makoto Sakamoto on drums and Will Foster on keyboard, the band will rock the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on August 18.

The Tears entertained an excited crowd at the T in the Park 2005 music festival in Scotland last weekend. The last time Anderson and Butler were in town with Suede, British tabloids snapped shots of the group tinkering about in Kowloon City. This time, CitySeen will let you know all about their  off-stage activities, so watch this space!
