Hong Kong completed their Davis Cup campaign unbeaten in Asia/Oceania zone group three after thrashing Vietnam 3-0 in their final match at Victoria Park yesterday. A day after celebrating their entry back into group two with Vietnam, the local team powered past the Vietnamese  to complete a memorable weekend.

Martin Sayer disposed of Thanh Hoang Tran 6-3, 6-1 in the first singles and Brian Hung won the tie when he crushed Minh Quan Do 6-2, 6-4. Hong Kong completed the rout when Sayer and Yu Hiu-tung  thrashed Minh and Quoc Khanh Le 6-1, 6-3.
