The unlikely match of luxury goods and bohemian aesthetics come together in Christian Dior's latest version of it's best-selling Detective bag, which features distressed, tie-dyed crocodile skin. Created by the brand's daring designer John Galliano, this collector's item was made to appeal to a trendier, younger generation with its combination of high-end luxury and hippie chic: 'It's about treating something as chic and refined as crocodile with irreverence,' says Galliano. Because no two tie-dyes can ever be identical, each Detective bag ($133,000) is unique. It is hand-assembled and dyed, comes lined with lambskin and is available in four sizes: small, medium, large and as a clutch bag. Colours available include lilac, red and black.
