Why you can trust SCMP

The Harlem Globetrotters' Eugene Edgerson helps a young prospect execute a slam dunk during a basketball holiday training camp at West Island School in Pok Fu Lam conducted by the enduring and much-travelled fan favourites of the court. The camps are being held under the guidance of veteran Globetrotters performer 'Sweet' Lou Dunbar, who is in his 26th season with the team. The camps are split into four one-week modules each running from Monday to Friday, with the final one ending on August 19. The camps, the first to be held outside the United states by the Harlem Globetrotters, are a precursor to the full Globetrotters team's latest visit to Hong Kong in which they will perform at the Southorn Stadium in Wan Chai on September 2 and 3.
