Although it is one of the world's smallest mini camcorders, the DCR-PC55/E sports an impressive three-inch Hybrid SwivelScreen liquid-crystal display that ensures accurate and detailed viewing in almost any lighting condition. This offers a touch-panel function with Active Menu, Start/Stop and Zoom buttons. The camcorder measures 45x99x 72mm and weighs 290 grams, which makes it easy to lug around. The lightweight design is complemented by a choice of finishes: silver, black, white or red.
