Pick a favourite from 30 books and win book coupons, tokens

A local book club has chosen 30 inspirational books on the theme of 'Home' and wants the public to vote on their favourite.

The Sun Hung Kai Properties Book Club will enter the top 10 in its next book review competition in October.

The names of those whose choice is among the top 10 will be entered into a lucky draw, with the first three prize-winners receiving book coupons worth $1,000 to $3,000. Another 200 book tokens each worth $200 will be handed out as consolation prizes.

The club's selection includes books for primary and secondary students and adults. Some of the themes covered include sibling ties, parent-child relationship, youth experiences and parental love.

The choice includes books by Chinese and foreign authors, including Harper Lee (To Kill a Mockingbird), Edward de Bono (How to have a Beautiful Mind) and Mitch Albom (Tuesdays with Morrie).

The poll will close on September 23 and results will be announced on October 6. You can vote on the internet, or by sending a ballot by mail or fax.
