CitySeen reported this month that although socialite Kam Kwok-leung (right) is still friends with past loves, he doesn't keep in touch with them.
This week, however, we read in the Chinese papers that his ex, Carol 'Dodo' Cheng Yu-ling (left), 'refused' to be in a photo with him at an event for watch-maker Philip Stein Teslar on Sunday, so we phoned the actress to find out the real deal.
She said they were about to have their photo taken together when she noticed the Asia Pacific president of Philip Stein, Christie Wo Man-shan, standing beside her. 'Naturally, I called her over to take the photo with me.'
Later, when the press asked the ex-lovers to be in a photo by themselves, she refused. 'I had no idea the press would make a big deal out of saying 'no' to having a photo taken,' she told us.
'It's been so many years since our relationship. It's best if we can be friends, if not, then the best I can do is to be gracious when I see him at events.'
