An electronic products group is looking for a seasoned professional to formulate and implement strategic human resources and administration policy.

'The director, HR and administration, is a demanding as well as a challenging position. The group is expanding globally and the incumbent will have an opportunity to direct HR policy not just in Hong Kong and China, but also in overseas subsidiaries in the US and Europe,' said Wingo Chan, consulting manager of recruitment specialist Alpha Omega.

Mr Chan said the group was well established and included companies engaged in the design, manufacture and marketing of electronic products for both consumers and industrial customers.

'The new director will report to the managing director and will be an important member of the core management team,' said Mr Chan. 'The company is particularly looking for someone with skills in dealing with mainland officials and an understanding of China and Hong Kong labour and tax law.'
