The new Samsung Electronics YP-T8 is a multi-function entertainment device that allows users to play games, watch videos, view jpeg-format pictures, peruse text and play heaps of MP3 music. With Samsung's proprietary Digital Natural Sound engine technology, the YP-T8 delivers a rich, surround-sound experience using two built-in speakers. A 21-band equaliser allows users to customise their listening experience. The petite device weighs 55 grams and measures 43.5 x 83 x 15.5mm. It comes with one gigabyte of memory, which can store up to 250 songs or six hours of mpeg 4 video. Users can enjoy 20 hours of listening on one charge. Priced at $1,998, the YP-T8 also has the first 1.8-inch, 262,144-colour liquid crystal display in the MP3 player market.
