Those who use a mosquito net around their beds to ensure a good night's sleep will appreciate these curtains, which are designed to keep balconies and porches insect free. Created by American-based Kurt and Elizabeth Jordan, the bug barriers are made of knitted and heat-cured polyester and can be easily installed with Velcro, strong magnets or curtain hooks. The enclosures need not be completely sealed, the pair says, because gaps are of little consequence. 'Mosquitoes are terrible fliers, and not very determined when given an obstacle,' they say.
