TO cope with the building construction industry, SHEW reorganised two operating and sales departments - the contracting department and the engineering services department - to form a new company on July 1, this year.
Shun Hing Engineering Contracting Co Ltd (SHECON) is fully owned by SHEW and provides contracting and maintenance services to its clients through a workforce of 160.
For the past several years, SHEW's success in winning contracts has been due to reliable project management, the ability to meet tight construction schedules and the provision of products that meet the stringent demands of developers.
The experience gained through the completion of a wide range of building service contracts in Hong Kong, Macau and China has helped establish SHECON, which will handle contracts for a variety of mechanical and electrical projects, electronic projects, security systems, lighting systems, and ceiling and raised-floor systems.
With a well-trained maintenance team, SHECON is able to provide high-quality maintenance and after-sales service to its clients.
To service computer accessory hardware, SHECON and Matsushita Electric collaborated to establish a FDD/SSD (Floppy Disk Drive/Super Slim Drive) repair centre to provide professional technical service.
