Transport arm moves forward
SHUN HING Forwarders helps keep things moving for the Shun Hing Group.
Established on April 1, this year, Shun Hing Forwarders Co Ltd takes care of the sales companies' warehousing and transportation needs, and makes sure customers receive an efficient product delivery service.
The products the company handles include items from SHET (National, Panasonic, Technics), SHJVC (JVC audio-visual, video recorders, floppy disks, and For-A professional audio-visual facilities), SHEW (Panasonic, KDK, housing and industrial facility systems produced by Matsushita Electric of Japan) and SHTEC (Panasonic high-technology and office automation products and ITOKI office furniture).
Shun Hing Forwarders has a fleet of vehicles, including 27 lorries and vans.
The warehouse area measures 430,000 square feet, which is sufficient for 720 cargo containers.
It takes up 12 floors of the Shun Hing Centre and has a total staff of around 300.
In addition, 24 electric-driven loading and unloading platforms - 12 for container trucks and 12 for lorries - help make the operation smooth and efficient.
The warehouse has adopted the British DEXION advanced front and rear double-deep racking systems and the United States' Prime-Mover electric-driven double-reach trucks.
These advanced facilities, complemented with sophisticated computer procedural control, alarm systems and stringent security measures, help to assure efficient product delivery.
