THE Shun Hing Group has been supportive of the educational sector in Hong Kong.
In order to train and develop professionals for Hong Kong and China, the group has donated millions of dollars to fund the establishment of various research centres in the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Hong Kong Polytechnic, and City Polytechnic of Hong Kong, as well as Tsing Hua University, Beijing University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
But the group's support is not limited to tertiary education.
It has sponsored the design competition and has produced the curriculum kit for ''A Positive Attitude Towards Life'' jointly organised by the Education Department for all primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong.
The competition aims to encourage students to stand up to the challenge of creating a meaningful future.
The group also sponsored the production of the Two Plus You moral education package for the Independent Commission Against Corruption.
