Based in Sydney, he will focus on  managing the company's Asia-Pacific operations and assessing market trends and requirements,  as well as creating and maintaining new partner alliances and customer relationships.

Gina Ho

Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong

Ms Ho will maintain the daily operations of the Island Shangri-La's sales department. This will entail managing and developing client relationships as well as monitoring sales activities. She previously worked as director of events management at the Island Shangri-La. Ms Ho has also run the catering departments of the Shangri-La hotels in Beijing (1989-91) and Shenzhen (1992-94).

Les Wood

Earthasia

Mr Wood will lead Earthasia's master planning team to serve both public and private sector clients in the region. Earthasia is a Hong Kong-based landscape architecture firm with offices in China and Australia. Mr Wood has more than 20 years' experience in Australia practising award-winning landscape architecture and master planning from large- to medium-scale projects for government bodies and corporations.

Sainti Li

Mr Li will be based in Shanghai and will  manage more than 250 employees serving AT&T's business customers in the company's fastest-growing market in the Asia-Pacific region. Before his appointment, Mr Li spent five years on secondment from AT&T at the company's joint venture in Shanghai, Shanghai Symphony Telecom (Unisiti). His technical and telecoms expertise spans more than 24 years.

James Wall

Head of FIG debt capital markets Asia

Bank of America

Mr Wall, who joined Bank of America in June as a principal,  will oversee the bank's debt capital markets business in North Asia and Australia. He will be based in Hong Kong. He came from Citigroup Australia, where he was a director in global corporate and investment banking focused on fixed-income capital markets. He has worked in various capital markets, including Sydney and Tokyo.

Rhonda Schneider

Ms Schneider  will offer advice and recruitment services to ALS clients and candidates at all levels, both in the private practice and in-house markets. She will focus on matters related to  Hong Kong and the wider Asia market. Ms Schneider is a qualified lawyer in the United States and has managed her own law office as a sole practitioner. She is familiar with the human capital challenges inherent with growing a business.

Wei Zhang

STAR China

Ms Zhang will be responsible for managing the channel operations, revenue and business development of STAR China. She rejoined the television network from CNBC China, where she oversaw the business channel's mainland operations. As a TV personality herself, Ms Zhang has hosted various interview-format programmes for China Central Television and other TV networks  on the mainland.
