Main Street USA is a replica of an American small town typical of those in the 1890-1910 era. It comprises the City Hall, the Opera House, the Emporium, the Disneyland Fire Department and the Main Street Station, where visitors can hop on to the park's toy train. Gas lamps are used to light the streets lined with shops and eateries.
The City Hall is where one goes for information on the park or to look for lost items. The Disneyland Fire Department has strollers and wheelchairs for rental.
The street also houses the park's largest shop, the Emporium, which resembles an old American general store, and the park's 'premiere dining establishment', is the Plaza Inn, a Chinese restaurant operated by Maxim's. Transport also goes retro - Main Street Taxi is modelled on early American cars; the Police Wagon is fashioned after an old American paddy wagon with a lock up compartment; a double decker Omnibus has an open upper deck for a view of the street.
Two trains run on the 1,500-metre track built around the park. Each five-car train can carry 250 visitors.
