A SENIOR Provisional Airport Authority (PAA) executive involved in a series of controversies looks set to leave his job.

Richard Judy joined the PAA as interim commercial director and interim operations director last year, but both jobs have been offered to candidates overseas.

Dr Hank Townsend, the authority's chief executive officer, yesterday confirmed offers have been made to two ''senior'' executives - one in Britain and another in Canada.

He would not say when the two would report to work, nor identify them, saying only they were ''very experienced in the airport business''.

''We are waiting to receive the documentation back from them. We will probably be making an announcement about them after I return from an overseas trip in the first part of December,'' said Dr Townsend.

Although Dr Townsend said no date had been set for Mr Judy to leave his positions, he said he ''would imagine [Mr Judy] would want to go on to do other things'' when his work was ''successfully turned over and completed''.
