Nobody ever said fashion is easy. Case in point: the poor models who had to endure the Swank Shop's Tuesday night fashion show at Dragon-i. We're talking autumn/winter apparel, so it's long heavy coats, woolly sweaters and thick knits topped with fur hats. Inside Dragon-i's air-conditioned bar area it's not so bad; but on the outside patio, the poor things had to sweat it in humid 30 degrees Celsius. Add to that, the unique presentation didn't involve a catwalk. Instead, the models had to stand for long periods posing on platforms as guests wandered around looking at each stage. Swank boss Judy Hong told us: 'Don't worry, there are air-conditioned fans blowing on them.' However, as the night went on, it seemed the typical stern, steely gaze on some of the male models was melting into a look of clammy, sweaty discomfort. Similarly, the girls started getting flushed and glistening. However, that was kind of sexy.
