YP exercises help you cope with HKCEE English
1-MIN READ1-MIN
I'm writing in response to a letter that appeared in the Young Post recently. The author was concerned that candidates who take Syllabus B HKCEE English are at a disadvantage as it's easier to get a higher grade if you take Syllabus A.
I disagree. Syllabus A is for weaker students, and most schools equate an A in Syllabus A with a C in Syllabus B.
Also, if you have do not pass Syllabus B English, you cannot study at three of the local universities.

Next year's HKCEE is the last time that the English paper will be divided into two syllabuses. There will be no more chances to retake the Syllabus B examination in 2007.
Think carefully before selecting your syllabus.
