The Essex boys will play one night, with details to be announced. TRUE to its policy of ''if it works, do it again'', The Jazz Club is bringing a quartet of successful former visitors back for shows.
Clarence ''Gatemouth'' Brown returns for a November 26 to December 5 run, Guy Barker does likewise from December 27 to 30, Japanese trumpet wizard Teru Masahino is in from January 11 to 16, and Eric Marienthal from February 18 to 26. There is also talk of blues man Junior Wells stopping over in March.
Meanwhile, cult guitar hero Elvin Bishop will appear from January 21 to 29. ON THE local front, classic/heavy rockers A.W.O.L. will be putting on a special fund-raiser at the Bradbury Junior School in Stubbs Road on November 19.
