The bantamweight champion of ultra-portable, tablet personal computers may well be the new LifeBook P1510 pen-convertible notebook from Fujitsu.
It measures 232 x 167 x 34.5mm to 37.5 mm and weighs about 1kg, with battery. This petite head-turner packs plenty of firepower, such as Intel's Centrino Mobile technology, which includes the 1.20-gigahertz Pentium M processor 753, the Pro/Wireless 2915ABG network connection and 915GMS chipset.
It also comes with Windows XP Professional Edition or Home Edition, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator, 60-gigabyte hard drive, 512 megabytes of memory, an 8.9-inch screen and various security features, including fingerprint sensor and hard disk lock.
Swivel the screen over the keyboard and it becomes a tablet PC with a stylus pen to write with. The LifeBook P1510 costs $17,880.
