Young Post's grammar exercises won't kill you. Mandie and Thomas survived. Mandie Ho, 17 TWGHs Mrs Wu York Yu Memorial College I like the first exercise. Having answers to choose from makes it easier. Exercise 2 is difficult. I 've never come across the word 'overcast' so I got stuck on that sentence. Because of the word 'sun', I wrote down 'sunglasses'. I'm not sure if this is the correct answer. I don't have a problem with question 2 like Thomas does. The word 'wedding' is often followed by another noun, like 'gift' or 'party'. And I've heard of people celebrating their wedding anniversary. Thomas Li, 16 St Joseph's College Exercise 1 is easy because the words are all there. You just have to choose the correct one. I like fill-in-the-blanks exercises. But in Exercise 2, questions 2 and 8 are quite difficult. In question 2, it's already a complete sentence. I don't know what noun I should use to fill in the blank. I spent a few minutes thinking about question 8 because I couldn't figure out the answer at first. Then I imagined myself as a tennis player and thought that an accident would keep me from playing.
