Updated at 6.16pm: Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) officers on Thursday confiscated a number of boxes of documents from the Sheung Wan office of a leading Hong Kong entertainment company. Three staff members of the Abba Entertainment Group were also taken to ICAC headquarters. The graft watchdog declined to give further details, saying investigations were still progressing, local radio reported. Abba Entertainment Group chairman Chan Tat-chee also holds directorships in two other listed companies in Hong Kong. He is a deputy-director of China Sciences Conservational Power and chairman of China Conservational Power Holdings. Trading in shares of the two companies was suspended on Thursday afternoon, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange confirmed in a statement. Mr Chan is often described as ?Hong Kong?s father of musical concerts?. He started his entertainment businesses in 2003 and subsequently arranged concerts in Hong Kong and the mainland. China Sciences Conservational Power focuses on computer software, car parts and renewable energy businesses while China Conservational Power Holdings is an electric appliances producer and bond trader. Investigations were continuing on Thursday afternoon.
