hku's mba programme ranked top in asia
Two local university's faculties have obtained high international ranking this year in their business programme and tourism research. The Economist Intelligence Unit, the business arm of the Economist, has ranked the University of Hong Kong's MBA programme the highest in Asia and the 45th in its top 100 in the world. The university's Faculty of Business and Economics is the only school in Asia that made the top 50 on the list. Meanwhile, Hong Kong Polytechnic University's School of Hotel and Tourism Management has been ranked fourth in its research contributions.

Polytechnic University is the first Asian institution to become an international research partner of Australian Wool Innovation and is receiving $11 million in funding to carry out research and development projects for the wool industry.
baptist promotes internationalisation
Hong Kong Baptist University is holding a two-week international festival to promote internationalisation of its campus. The event, which runs until October 7, includes an international food market, a photographic exhibition on Paris, a European film festival, an Indian dance recital, and a national costume show and concert.
