Green Rose (Cable TV) Green Rose is a tale of love and revenge, starring popular Ko Su (My Fair Lady) and Lee Da-hae (Lotus Flower Fairy). Ko plays the lead, who works at a large corporation, where he falls in love with the daughter of the chairman (Lee). After being framed for murder, Ko's character becomes a fugitive and escapes to the mainland, where he meets a Chinese tycoon and works his way to the top. Under a different name, he returns to Korea to take revenge on those who framed him. Super Rookie (Cable TV) Eric Mun from pop group Shinhwa leads a youthful, good-looking cast in this comedy about a good-for-nothing day-dreamer who, after a bungled selection procedure, ends up working as a young executive in large corporation. Han Ga-in is great as the female lead. This drama also features a superb supporting cast. My Lovely Sam Soon (Cable TV) Not scheduled to be on until early next year, this is definitely one of the best dramas to come out of Korea this year. Popular actress Kim Su-ah piled on the pounds to play the title role. Sam Soon is a pastry chef who may not be your traditional beauty but has a heart of gold. She falls in love with rich boy Hyun Jin-heon, played by Hyun Bin, who has a traumatic past. Kim has great acting talent. It is worth watching the series for her alone. Sorry I Love You (Now Broadband TV) A huge tear-jerker on a par with Stairway To Heaven. So Ji-sup plays a small-time gangster, an orphan who grew up in Australia. In the course of a shoot-out, two bullets lodge in his head, meaning that he can die at any moment. He returns to Korea and, to his horror, discovers that his biological mother is living in luxury with her pop-star son. After discovering that his mother abandoned him out of poverty, he plots his revenge. Beijing My Love Kim Jae-won (of Romance and My Love Patzzi) returns in this tale of romance in which he plays the son of the owner of a big corporation. His father wants to groom him to become the future head of his enterprise and sends him to Beijing to learn about the 'real world'. He gets involved in a complicated romance with the daughter of the owner of a rival company.
