The East Wing, West Wing series, which set out to satirise former chief executive Tung Chee-hwa and his administration, brought much critical acclaim to its creators, Mathias Woo Yan-wai and Edward Lam Yick-wah, as well as box-office success for Zuni Icosahedron.

The crew is back - this time without Lam - in the Strange Strange Hong Kong series. The production is more a social than political satire and the target is local property developers. Woo says the shallowness of the populace and ignorance of those in power is manifested in the city's urban planning and architecture.

Unlike EWWW, there's a loose storyline in The Agent that connects about 16 vignettes. Foul-mouthed estate agent David (Yeung Wing-tak) loses out to subordinate Carson (Chung Ka-shing) in winning the affection of another colleague Tanya (Chan Shuk-chong).
