Oregon Scientific's Music Sphere wireless remote speaker system is from the company's new high-end StyleFi brand of audio equipment. Apart from adding style to any room in your house, the Music Sphere is a hassle-free way to listen to portable music players without annoying wires and cables. Using 2.4GHz digital audio frequency, the small transmitter plugs into any audio source and transmits the signal to the speaker up to 30 metres away. The speaker system has a subwoofer and employs FHSS (frequency hopping spread spectrum) technology to ensure a surprisingly crisp and clear sound. The blue LCD clock adds some retro cool. A similar product, the iBall, has an iPod docking system. The Music Sphere sells for $2,298.
