The latest MP3 player from JNC follows in the line of its predecessors. It is featherlight, colourful and boasts good sound quality. The SSF-F805 weighs a diminutive 18 grams without a battery, making it all but unnoticeable when dangling from your neck. But there is still plenty to get excited about, including FM radio, FM radio recording, voice recording, multilingual text display and WOW SRS surround sound. Five preset equaliser settings include rock, classical and pop, and the whole bundle is powered by a single AAA battery. The player ships in four colours - white, orange, green and red - and three capacities: 256MB, 512MB and 1GB. A neck strap, USB cable and MP3-encoding cable are included. The 512MB version costs $990.
